GAP Developers plc, the developers of the Fort Cambridge complex, has announced the completion of the shell structure of the southern block of the project. The luxury development area in Malta is scheduled to be fully completed and receiving its first residents early next year, by which time the area would also feature 'green' landscaping.

The company said the whole complex is on target for completion by the second half of 2011.

The South Block features 62 luxury property apartments that range from one-bedroom to three-bedroom properties, all of which have been sold.

The complex will feature a total of 341 units of which over 67% have already been sold, nearly half of them to foreigners.

"GAP are committed to ensure that Fort Cambridge is synonymous with luxury lifestyle and excellence in quality, a vision that is making this development one of the most sought after addresses in the Mediterranean!" the company said.

The innovative development area is designed with a Mediterranean concept – including the blues and greens of the sea and grass respectively. Fort Cambridge has brought the local traditions and history closer to the modern and current lifestyle. Its location further enriches the value of the property as one looks onto the remarkable historic façade from the available apartments, penthouses and duplexes which watch-guard the sea and the tranquil surroundings. Few corners away, there are also high-street shop and restaurants keeping necessities abreast of the locals living there.

The team behind the luxury development area cares about its customers and wants to make it easier for them by providing the necessary information and procedures one must incur in order to buy property and live in Malta. On its own website, Fort Cambridge highlights concessions, conditions and eligibility of all foreigners wishing to invest and live in Malta.
